Managing Triggers to Build Healthy Relationships
Workshop
Stay true to yourself & show up authentically
“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will rule your life and you will call it fate" - Carl Jung
Why do we pull then push in romantic relationships?
Why do we love one minute and reject the next?
Why do we feel triggered and run away, shut down, lash out, judge or people-please in our relationships?
Why do we abandon our authentic selves, lose our voice, go mute, change our shape or try to become someone more 'acceptable' to the other?
In short, why do we behave as we do in relation to others, in ways that often jeopardise or sabotage the relationship and leave us feeling unfulfilled or in emotional pain?
The answer isn't fate.
The answer isn't, 'I just haven't met you yet.'
The answer isn't, 'this is just how I am.'
The answer is: our subconscious is running the show.
When we understand our subconscious reactions to other people in relationships, romantic and otherwise, we can transform how we respond to others, act consciously rather than react automatically and build healthy connections and, ultimately, long-lasting love.
For me, and for many of my clients, this process has been game changing and, as a consequence, life changing.
If you are ready to transform your patterns of behaviour so that you can consciously create the partnership you know you deserve and so that you can feel more at ease in all of your relationships, this enlightening workshop is for you.
Watch the video below for a preview of the workshop.
This workshop will support you to:
Grow in understanding and awareness of your dating and relationship triggers
Date and form relationships in a calm, conscious, drama-free way
Show up authentically and learn to stay true to yourself in relationships
Find your voice in relationships and express your needs and wants with newfound courage
Develop tools and strategies to support you to avoid self-sabotage in relationships
Date and form relationships based on present-day reality rather than projections from your past or fantasies about your future
Feel more in control of your reactions to others so that all your relationships flow
This workshop is 1 hour and 40 minutes in length and was recorded live on July 11, 2023, on Zoom with a small group of women. The workshop includes exercise prompts and invitations to reflect on or journal about your own experiences, which you can do in your own time by pausing the recording. For maximum benefit, allow 2 to 3 hours for the workshop, including time to do the exercises and reflect.
The recording includes contributions made in the chat by participants during the live event, which I read out on screen. Hearing others' experiences and struggles will help you to feel less alone and will give you more clarity about your own patterns of behaviour.
If you'd like more support to work through your individual patterns of behaviour in relationships, to find your voice and to show up authentically, please book a 1:1 coaching session or a package of 3 sessions.
